Capitals @ Sabres

The Capitals didn't look as sharp as they did against Tampa or Toronto, but they did test Miller with 28 shots, two of them resulted in goals from unlikely sources, Pothier & Brashear.
The Caps held their own until mid-way through the 3rd when Stafford netted two, one of which Eminger got caught looking into Stafford's feet, where in most cases will turn out looking like a better deke than it actually is.
On a positive note, the heroes from Sunday's thrashing, Tomas Fleischmann & Alex Semin were constantly buzzing and creating chances, none of which the Caps were able to capitalize on.

The Capitals travel to Raleigh to face the playoff fighting Carolina Hurricanes.
